Master P has announced plans to launch a new TV network, titled Better Black TV Network. He claims it’s not going to be a direct competitor to BET (but it pretty  much totally is. But BET ain’t all bad, since they syndicate The Wire late at night), and he’s already roped in some high profile board of directors members, like Denzel Washington, Kool Herc and others. The channel has its own website, and Master P has reportedly finished ironing out the regulatory issues involved with launching a TV network, paving way for the channel to go live in the near future. Let’s just hope Lil Romeo isn’t involved in an acting capacity. [Wooha]
