This Felix Da Housecat video for “We All Wanna Be Prince” is a “Girls-Gone-Wild”-meets-Vice-“Do’s-and-Dont’s” homage to Prince. Interrupting club sex scenes and a “Purple Rain” reenactment are cameos by superstar producer Dallas Austin and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton. There is also a sequence of cowboys singing the chorus. Perhaps this is meant as irony. Felix himself looks a lot like Kanye West, and while he has not earned as much commercial success as Mr. Louis Vuitton—not to mention Prince—he does have a steady place in mainstream electro-house culture.
